Art Exhibit at Kaboom Books

Kaboom Books - Houston, TX - 12/10/11

Kaboom Books hosted an art exhibit featuring local artists Justin Dunford, Matt Messinger, Jessica Jacobi and Lindsay Peyton on Saturday, December 10, 2011. The works on display included small drawings and paintings which were matted and framed for sale. Kaboom Books is a used book store located in the Historic Houston Heights. Owners Dee and John Dillman are active within the community and regularly host events that welcome regulars and newcomers.

Owner and founder Lindsay Peyton has been a professional artist in Houston since 2004. Most recently, her works have been shown at Canal Street Gallery, McWhorter Gallery and Winter Street Studios. She has a photojournalism degree from the University of Texas and has worked as a freelance public relations writer and photographer for the past several years.
